What is your background?

I received my first Reiki attunement in the fall of 1996 and have been practicing and living the Reiki path ever since. For 8 years I lived in Boulder, Colorado where I maintained a wellness practice.

I have taken each one of the levels three times. The reason for this is; I feel it is important to learn from other teachers. Every time I study with a new teacher, I am astonished to see how vast and multi-layered the Reiki path actually is. I never stop learning and growing! I encourage all Reiki practitioners to renew their attunements as frequently as once a year. This strengthens the connection to the Reiki energies and makes them that much more powerful.

I am a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals® in good standing. This organization assists Reiki practitioners to become the “best of the best”, attaining the highest standards of professionalism and service within Reiki.

Where are the sessions held?

My wellness practice is located in West Hollywood, Ca and Taos, New Mexico.

What is the length of the treatment?

The sessions can last anywhere from 60 minutes to 120 minutes. It all depends on where the energies lead us.

What is involved in the treatment?

We will start out by talking a bit about your history and I will have you fill out a client intake form. It is important for me to gain knowledge about your path and what may be up for you in this moment. Also I think it is nice for us to get to know each other maybe share a little tea or water and just relax and breathe before our session.

Then I will have you state an intention, by doing so we are creating a more direct path for the energies hence expediting the healing process. The sessions take place with you fully clothed relaxing on a massage table and involve the laying on of hands in a series of varied positions. All of these hand positions are designed to allow the energies to flow to exactly where they are needed. Safe touch is always practiced. Reiki does not necessarily require touching. This depends on what techniques I am guided to use. Reiki is equally as powerful and effective whether the hands are used or not used.

Energy healing is a powerful healing modality. Most individuals find themselves letting go of any doubts or skepticism they may have initially had. Make no mistake; the results can be deeply profound.

During a session clients will feel a deep sense of peace and relaxation. They may feel sensations of heat coming through my hands or a pulsing sensation. They may also see light or feel as if they are floating. It is also possible to experience an emotional release.

I will remain quiet throughout the session unless I am guided to speak. You will know when the session has ended and it is suggested you take your time when emerging from the session.

How will I feel after our session?

Immediately following your session you will be asked to take some time to enjoy the deep state of relaxation as you slowly move back into your awareness.
It is essential to drink plenty of water as toxins will be releasing from your system. Please listen closely to your bodies needs as you may now feel the need for more rest.

You may notice immediate relief from chronic pain and symptoms.

Most clients report feeling an overwhelming sense of calm and may begin to experience deep relaxing sleep. Also many clients begin to have vivid dreams. I call these dreams “Reiki dreams” and they are a significant part of the healing journey.

How many sessions will I need?

You may find you only need one session, however each individual in unique. In some cases I will suggest a series of 3 sessions.

The healing path takes physical, emotional and spiritual commitment and, it takes time.

Most individuals lead very stressful lives therefore, by booking regular appointments the deep state of relaxation these sessions provide can play a key role in maintaining optimum health on all levels.

Each session is individual and based on your personal needs.

What is the cost?

Single Session – $70.00 Regardless of how long or short the session may be. I do offer sliding scale fees and strongly believe this work is meant to be shared with all who desire it. Yes a monetary exchange is important, but no one should be turned away for lack of funds.
Three Sessions (Consecutive Weeks) – $195.00
Distant Healing Sessions – $30.00
